Psychological Enhanced Response Liaison (PERL) with Language Capacity

Welcome to Pinnacle! We are seeking lived-experience coaches, which we call PERLs (Psychological Enhanced Response Liaison), to support families raising children with mental health needs. This role involves being part of a supportive community, providing guidance and resources, navigating children's mental health system and working to ensure family voice at all levels. As a PERL, you'll work with families and providers to ensure care coordination is family-centered, culturally-rooted, and the right fit at the right time.

 

Reports to: Kristi Glenn, Chief Experience Officer

The Basics:

  • Lived experience if raising a child with mental health needs  

  • Bilingual is preferred: Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese  

  • Reports to PERL Program Coordinator  

  • Contracted fee per service 

  • Starting at $25.00 per hour 

  • Location – Hybrid in New Haven, CO and Remote/Community Based

Wellbeing Logistics Partner

​

Pinnacle Partnerships is looking for a Wellbeing Logistics Partner for our ongoing Community Wellbeing Community Events, Engagement, Vaccine Clinics, and more! 

​

The Basics:

  • Reports to Head of Partnerships and Innovation

  • Attendance and timeliness to events

  • Appropriate work appearance and engagement with community members

  • Must be 18 years of age.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 

  • Contracted hourly pay for up to 20 hours a week. Salaries beginning at $20/hr.

Wellbeing Community Partner

Wellbeing Event Squad Member

Pinnacle Partnerships is looking for bilingual staff to join our Wellbeing Community Team for ongoing events.

The Basics:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Language Capacity is preferred: Spanish, Haitian-Creole, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese

  • Must have Access to a reliable vehicle with the ability to transport supplies to and from events.

  • Staff will be eligible to be vaccinated and receive PPE

  • Pay starts at $16/hour based on experience and language capacity

  • We have Seasonal, Part-Time, and Full-Time contracted hourly positions available.

Internship - Pinnacle Partnerships​

Welcome to Pinnacle Partnerships! We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual who is looking to learn entrepreneurial skills while adding value to our new and quickly growing company!

 

The mission at Pinnacle Partnerships is to improve the landscape and outcomes related to child mental health by leveraging the strengths and power associated with Family Driven Practice and Care. Pinnacle is an organization that provides consultation and training to various stakeholders (both passive and active) in the child mental health care system. We also provide services directly to communities, children and families who are currently experiencing mental health problems.

As a PERL you will: 

  • Respond to Family Requests: respond to family requests for peer support promptly and effectively. 

  • Provide Support and Guidance: provide support and guidance to families raising children with mental health needs using the family's preferred method of communication, which may include video chat, smartphone, text, and/or in-person communications. 

  • Support Resource Building: assist families in building and navigating available resources related to youth mental health. 

  • Content Generation: actively engage in content generation to create educational materials, resources, and workshop content related to children's mental health. 

  • Facilitate Educational Opportunities: facilitate educational opportunities, workshops, and/or groups for caregivers 

  • Quality Assurance: participate in Quality Assurance activities and data collection as needed to ensure the quality of family-centered care and services. 

  • Expert Guidance: provide expert guidance via consultation to educators, agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders to support family-driven decision-making processes, as requested.

PERL â€‹Qualifications:

  • Requirements 

    • Submit a Cover Letter with application 

    • Lived-experience being the parent or primary caregiver for a child with mental health needs. 

    • In depth knowledge of Behavioral Health Systems 

    • Access to a smartphone, computer, and reliable internet. 

  • Nice to Have 

    • Language capacity: Bilingual preferred 

    • Certification(s) in Wrap Around, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, and/or Youth Mental Health First Aid. 

    • License/Car.

Transportation:

  • Follow all transportation protocols (to be provided upon hiring.)

  • Transport community supplies as identified:

    • Wellness events and other training (tables, chairs, tents, signage, etc.)

    • PPE to events, businesses, resident, Pick up PPE overstock as part of PPE exchange program

  • Transportation is responsible for stocking all events, often multiple events on a single day, in collaboration with Wellbeing Operations Lead and Site Lead

 

Wellbeing Partner:

  • Participate in community vaccine clinics and wellbeing events to raise awareness and education. Support supplying communities with needed resources and information.

  • Partner with residents and businesses towards the implementation of COVID mitigation strategies and engaging community members in wellness education discussion, especially with people of color in the Brockton community.

  • Support various events through logistics, engagement, bringing high energy and hopeful spirits. 

  • Identification of ideal event spaces, business and community partnerships while in the community and report those leads back to the Wellbeing Community Team.

  • Give us their input! We believe in partnerships and value everyone’s experiences and insights. Pinnacle Partnerships strives to make our events culturally-rooted and specific to the residents of the Brockton area. 

  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled.

  • Experience with community outreach, teaching, facilitation, volunteering, or are willing to make a commitment to learn

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, French and/or Haitian Creole (Writing is a plus)

  • Access to a reliable vehicle with the ability to transport supplies to and from events.

  • Have transportation and valid driver’s license 

  • Available weekdays, evenings and weekends. This is a very flexible schedule. 

  • Experience working with Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) and the communities in which they reside.

  • Light lifting (50 lbs max), indoor and outdoor events, line management and traffic management depending on clinic/testing site.

This position is an internship (length of internship is negotiable). There is no salary or benefits associated with this position.
