Job Overview:

 

  • Collaborate with statewide and regional multi-disciplinary teams to create and promote Family Driven, Youth Guided policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Strengthen all Pinnacle Partnerships’ clients’ Family Driven practices.

  • Partner with educators, agencies, and organizations towards the implementation of family-inclusion through relationship building

  • Create, maintain, and facilitate regional learning collaboratives/opportunities and training focusing on Family Driven practices. Facilitate cross-training with educators, agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders.

  • Participate in Quality Assurance activities and data collection as needed.

  • Act as an ongoing resource and provide expert guidance through consultation to educators, agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders to address systemic barriers and promote collaborative family-centered approaches.

  • Provide expert guidance via consultation to educators, agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders to support family-driven decision-making processes.

  • Make recommendations to ensure the quality of family-centered care and services.

  • Participate in training and other events to provide family-centered perspective.

  • Facilitate trainings and support for leadership within education, agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders

  • Must have: 1- Lived-experience being the parent or primary caregiver for a child with mental health needs. 2- A vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

    • In depth knowledge of the Brockton Community

  • Nice to Have​

    • Language capacity, especially Spanish, Haitian Creole, and/or Cape Verdean Creole

    • Experience working with Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) communities

Community Vaccine Leader with Language Capacity

Job Type: Per Diem (In Person, No remote); Weekends and evening availability required; $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

  • Culturally-rooted educational opportunities and conversations for target communities.

  • Community events related to COVID awareness and education. Support supplying communities with needed information and resources.

  • Pinnacle Partnerships’ Community-based initiatives

  • Regional learning collaboratives/opportunities and training focusing on current COVID centered need

  • Training community leaders and other community members within education,

  • agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders.

 

Duties:

  • Partner with organizations, educators, and agencies towards the implementation of COVID mitigation strategies and engaging community members in vaccine education discussion

  • Facilitate regional learning collaboratives/opportunities and training focusing on current COVID centered needs

  • Act as an ongoing resource and provide expert guidance through consultation to organizations, community members, educators, agencies, and other stakeholders to promote collaborative community-based, culturally rooted approaches to COVID mitigation and vaccine hesitancy.

  • Make recommendations to ensure the quality of family-centered care and services.

  • Facilitate trainings and support community leaders and other community members within education, agencies, organizations, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Language Capacity: Fluent in Spanish, Creole, and/or Cape Verdean Creole

  • Knowledge of the Brockton Community

  • Experience working with Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) communities

  • Evening and weekend availability

  • License/Car

  • Nice to Have

  • Experience with simultaneous interpretation

  • Personal/Lived-experience with COVID

  • Written translation ability
