Pinnacle Partnerships is Awarded $50,000 by Baker Administration to Reduce Covid-19 in Brockton
Pinnacle Partnerships is honored and excited to announce we are among the recipients of the largest grant funds released by the Baker-Polito Administration in the #GetBackMass Campaign to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in target communities across Massachusetts.
This grant will fund our project entitled "Stomp Out COVID in Shoe City" in which we will work with community partners in Brockton, Ma to disseminate culturally competent and trauma sensitive Covid-19 guidance in accordance with CDC guidelines. This effort will be facilitated via a multi-pronged approach that will involve grassroots organizing with community partners spearheaded by a Family Synergy Specialist using their lived experiences from the local community related to mental health, equal health access, and equitable services for families. Additionally, we will offer immersive virtual webinar and workshop experiences intended to educate and empower the masses- from residents to responders.

This endeavor embodies the mission of Pinnacle Partnerships and will expand upon our existing collaborative efforts with The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Healthy Schools Program through The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19, which continues to ravage black and brown communities across the state and the country.
This project is especially near and dear to us at Pinnacle. We are a women-owned organization founded in Brockton and lifelong city residents of Cape Verdean and Haitian decent. We love our community and feel privileged to be of service in this significant role changing the trajectory of this unrelenting virus in our city.
If you would like to volunteer or join in our efforts, please fill out this form and we will be in touch with you very soon! It's time to Stomp-Out Covid in Shoe City!
We'll be sure to update you along the way.
Be Well,
